The Mansfield Bush Market is an incorporated organisation that has been going for 27 years. All profits from the markets are disbursed to local charaties. The Bush Market is a volunteer organisation, the current president is Doug George, the Vice-president is Graham Tie, the secretary is Jan Stone and the treasurer/market coordinator is Joan Tie, and Ann George is the Public Officer.
This has been one of the most successful years to date and the committee would like to thank you all for your contribution.
Application Forms. 2009 applications are available online, follow this link, If you wish to pay on the day please complete the form and you can leave it with "The Baron of Barjarg" on A lawn sites 5 and 6 in the enclosed envelope properly SEALED and with the correct amount of money. Change will be unavailable. Please do not alter the application forms as this has coused problems in the past. Application forms will be processed as they arrive.
INSURANCE. As from 2010 to attend the Bushmarkets ALL stallholders will need to have their own insurance, so please look into it during the coming months. This will also be the situation for those stallholders that attend the Mansfield Sunday Markets held on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
MARKET SITES. The 2008 November market has been fully booked since late July, so don't leave your application form too long Many people have been disappointed because they only attend one or two markets, so please book them as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
FINALLY. The Mansfield Bushmarket Committee hope you continue to have good days trading and would like to wish you and your family all the very best for Christmas and the New Year.
The Mansfield Bush Market (MBM) Committee is also responsible for the monthly sunday markets held in High Street opposite the Post Office on the 3rd sunday of the month. Sunday market does not operate during the winter months of June, July & August.
The annual Harvest festival held on the Saturday of the Labour Day weekend in March is also a responsibility of the (MBM) 2009 to be advised.
